geen idee waar je het over hebt. Als ik suikerziekte had, zou ik sowieso ALLE koolhydraten vermijden, dan heb je al veel minder insuline behoefte. Dus geen rijst, pasta etc preppen, maar gedroogd vlees, blikgroenten etc. En als de wiedeweerga leren om insuline te maken uit varkens (en schapen?). Verder ook een voorraad van extra lang werkende insulines proberen op te bouwen.

Bij mij zat er steeds een kwartier tussen. Manipulatie van mijn bloeddruk? Angst factor? Blij te horen dat jij ook tot The Chosen behoort

Er is zelfs een handdoek dag! Helaas was dat afgelopen week, daar moeten we dan weer een jaar op wachten. Towel Day is celebrated every year on 25 May as a tribute to the author Douglas Adams by his fans.[1] On this day, fans carry a towel with them, as described in Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, to demonstrate their appreciation for the books and the author.

More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitchhiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost." What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.
