    Ik vind alleen dat t zo absurd duur is...........n goed alternatief vind ik de zakjes Culiquik van de Action.0.82ct.Ze zijn alleen niet zo heel lang houdbaar(paar maanden)Ook in diverse smaken..En goed te eten.

    Nu aan €0,84 cent per stuk. Paar maanden? Volgens het etiket, en vandaag gekocht, zijn ze zeker nog goed tot 6/2015. Overigens drie smaken: pasta carbonara, pasta al pesto en pasta quattro formaggi. 160 gram per stuk en goed voor ongeveer 620 kcal.

    Ook even de comments lezen... Lijkt me een sucker being born... dingetje. Wel leuke handel natuurlijk.

    Others have beat this poor horse. I’ll join in. 151-154 MHz is not only in the Very High Frequency (VHF) portion of the spectrum (30-300 MHz), it’s what’s consider high VHF. Sure, it’ll pass through forests a bit better than the 700 MHz-and-up cellular channels. It’ll also fill in dips in the terrain a bit, but not nearly as good as low VHF. Aircraft use frequencies just below this, but land armies drop down into 30-50 MHz range and use a lot of power to fill in the dips.

     

    Actually, the promoters are being honest. Nine miles is about the very best you could expect in open terrain (perhaps hill top to hill top over water) and buildings, hills or forests will quickly cut that down. A mile is more realistic in hiking conditions. Indoors? Forget going very far. And keep in mind that cellular systems talk far at their higher frequencies because they put high-gain and often directional antennas up high. This’ll be little antennas down low at both ends.

     

    I also wonder about their anywhere in the world claims. The frequencies are used for radio astronomy, particularly in Europe (Region 1); Note this:

     

    The Radio Astronomy Service has in the band 150.05 – 153.0 MHz a shared primary allocation in Region 1. It falls near the middle of a wide gap in continuum coverage. In the United States, a large amount of interference occurs in this band. A clear continuum band is badly needed between the current 74 and 327 MHz allocations. This band is widely used in the United Kingdom and is a major band for the Giant Metre-wave Radio Telescope, GMRT, in India. Further worldwide consolidation would be most desirable. This band is also used for pulsar observations and solar observations.”

    I suspect they’re making use of MURS:

    For keeping in touch at a crowded concert when the cells systems are overloaded, it should be fine. Just don’t depend on it for emergencies the wilderness. For that you need either a satellite phone or an amateur radio handheld that can hit repeaters. For where you’ll be going, consult the locals. They’ll know what works.

    Bij een boel paalcampings in Noord Brabant is een vuurplaats dus daar is een klein vuurtje geen enkel probleem.

     

    @FKAGB Dat zal dan wel gedogen zijn. Officieel mag het niet. Idem in Vlaanderen. Vreemd genoeg mag vuur maken dan weer wel in Wallonië, op eentje na. Maar daar zijn de regels dan weer veel strenger voor al de rest.

     

    Wat is een bivak zonder vuur? Het hoort erbij! En eigenlijk is 'wildkamperen' gewoon een recht.

    Vorig jaar kocht ik bij Décathlon diverse energierepen en het viel me op dat:

     

    - ze duur zijn

    - er bewust niet aantrekkelijk uitzien

    - bewust nauwelijks te vreten zijn.

    - niet beter scoren qua voedinsgwaarde ivm 'snoep'.

     

    Volgens mij grotendeels een scam.

    Oorlog is niet alleen goed en gewenst voor de economie (mega kapitalistische structuren), het is ook uitstekend voor technologische vooruitgang en als grootmacht om militair op peil te blijven. Dat alles is niks nieuws hoor, zo zit onze maatschappij in elkaar.

     

    Zo was Nederland na WW1 zowat de rijkste natie van Europa. Oorlog = flink verdienen!

    En heb je een smartphone nodig tijdens SHTF ? Ik heb er zelfs nu nog geen nodig.

     

    Informatie tijdens een noodgeval is meestal belangrijk en een smartphone is gewoon een mini-laptop geworden waar je alles kan op vinden. Op het einde van de wereld na gaan die dingen ook gewoon werken, zelfs bij een massale ramp. Technologie gebruiken zonder er een slaaf van te worden is de boodschap.

     

    Prijsmatig kosten die dingen niet echt veel meer, de schermen zijn groter geworden en ze zijn snel. Een smartphone lijkt me niet de beste keuze, beter is een phablet en dat is wat mijn volgende 'smartphone' zal zijn.

    Het is niet de bedoeling dat je dat ding gaat opladen enkel door de hendel te gebruiken, zoals ze zelf aangeven in de handleiding. Volgens mij kan het wel, maar zal het een eeuw duren.

    Ik vind de lampen best mooi. Alleen in een modern gezin niet zo praktisch, in elk geval niet zonder SHTF. Wel handig om te hebben. Maar zomaar zonder dat je 't echt kan gebruiken twijfel ik toch. Nu probeer ik te bedenken waarvoor je 't ding nog kan inzetten. Zou je die lamp kunnen gebruiken om pakweg een serre vorstvrij te houden ? Of slaat mijn fantasie nu op hol ? Hoeveel warmte krijg je van zo'n lamp ?

     

    Feuerhand is rond de 300 Watt. Men gebruikt ze ook wel om een kleine kamer te verwarmen of een serre vorstvrij te houden.
