    Op beterleven.nl een interessant link in een recent artikel waarvan ik dacht dat ik deze eens hier moest plaatsen; het is helaas wel in het Engels.

The Greek physician Hippocrates proclaimed nearly 2,500 years ago: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Today, medical experts concur. If we heap our plates with fresh fruits and vegetables, they tell us, we will come closer to optimum health.

    Op- en doorverkopen van conserven waarvan de THT is verstreken

    Hallo mede-budgetpreppers,

     

    Ik werk in een groothandel en met regelmaat zie ik wat er aan (deels vers) fruit en conservenblikken wordt weggegooid. Ik kreeg recent het idee om hier munt uit te slaan: opkopen van deze conserven (en later het fruit om het in te maken wanneer ik dit kan) om het dan aan andere preppers te kunnen verkopen voor weinig geld.

     

    Nu vroeg ik mij eerst af of hier interesse naar zou zijn?

    Hoe kan het einde er uitzien voor degene die zich niet hebben voorbereid (teotwawki)

    Snap ik wel maar wat kan je daar in godsnaam op antwoorden ?

     

    Nu ik het nog een keer heb gelezen snap ik de intentie van je eerdere reactie. Ik denk dat, met zicht op de bedoeling van de oorspronkelijke zin, dat het hier gaat om (herhalende) vraagstukken. Dus; water- en voedselvoorziening, woonruimte, ziekte bestrijding, bescherming tegen de elementen, bescherming etc... dat is iig wel wat ik erbij kan bedenken.

     

    Denk idd dat nummertje 47 niet erg op de lijst past. Is een beetje subjectief.

    Ondergrondse steden, stelsels, en BOL optie

    Verwacht dat veel grote steden het hebben, nadeel is dat ze soms immens kunnen zijn (zoals de catacombes van Parijs) en vaak zijn ze ook niet (of niet goed) genoteerd waardoor het letterlijk een doolhof is waarin mensen doodgaan. Of het een goede BOL is? Ik denk het niet, ik weet niet hoe je ondergroends wil overleven maar ik ben van mening dat je van de natuur moet leven en niet compleet afhankelijk moet zijn van je voorraadje. Ondergronds valt er weinig te verbouwen, te telen, te kweken of te houden.

     

    En het vochtgehalte in de lucht zou een houten stoel al in twee maanden kunnen wegvreten, laat staan hoe lang je andere spullen meegaan.

    Revolutie in Amerika

    Dit komt van die website over de tweede revolutie; is het niet zo dat de moderne westerse landen zich kunnen handhaven door goedkoop grondstoffen uit andere landen te halen. Je kunt wel een revolutie beginnen, maar als je het onderliggende probleem (grondstoffenschaarste waar het imperialisme om eerdergenoemde te monopoliseren voor jezelf uit voorstroomt) niet kan oplossen vervalt het toch uiteindelijk uit zichzelf weer in oude patronen terug?

    Heb laatst voor 8,95 het boekje "geld besparen voor dummies" gehaald. Hoewel een deel van de tips hier al wordt gegeven gaat die boekje nog net wat verder.

     

    Huismiddel tegen acne? Beetje olijfolie en zout.

    Buffet voor 4-personen van de kliekjes van afgelopen week? Heel goed mogelijk.

    Cadeautjes inkopen voor een heel jaar? Ruim van tevoren (in de uitverkoop in december) al inkopen.

    Huwelijksdag? Ga thuis luxe eten in plaats van in een restaurant.

     

    Ik kan iedereen (zover ik het boekje al heb ingezien) dit boekje aanraden. Er staat voor nog net geen 10€ een groot scala aan handige tips in die vooral voor beginners (zoals mij) op dit vlak misschien wel handig zijn.

    Let op de opmerkingen na 1 jaar zonder elektriciteit is 90% van de bevolking uitgestorven

     

    Zou dit quotum ook voor Nederland gelden?

     

    Ik krijg zo het idee van wel. Ik heb bij distributiecentra voor supermarkten gewerkt en zit nu in de horeca groothandel. Zonder elektriciteit rijden pompwagens en steekwagens niet, heftrucks op brandstof worden nauwelijks nog gebruikt en computersystemen die de voorraden bijhouden zullen niet werken. Aldus de volledige kwetsbaarheid van ons distributiesysteem t.a.v. elektriciteit.

    nu ben ik wel benieuwd of hier mensen zijn die hiermee bekend zijn of zich al aangemeld hebben?

     

    zo ja wat is jullie motief om dit te doen en kunnen jullie een profiel schetsen over een jaar hoe een training/voorbereiding etc. eruit ziet?

     

    Ik zou de vraag stellen; "Leer ik als reservist dingen die ik mezelf ook kan aanleren?". Desnoods door elders een training te volgen door een deskundige o.i.d.

    Inderdaad. Als ik dit lees (en vanuitgaande dat het waarheid wordt) krijg ik de neiging mijn spullen te pakken, naar het meest dunbevolkte gebied van aarde te reizen en daar te gaan leven, zonder enige vorm van elektronica.

     

    Voorlopig iig maar uit blijven kijken naar het vallen van de Deutsche Bank. Intussen mijn preps maar opvoeren, gelukkig net een brief gekregen dat ik ik €300 van de belasting (lees:overheid) terug kan krijgen.
