  1. I started using them a few months ago for storing coffee beans and some bulk snacks, and I was honestly surprised at how well they work. I used to stick everything in jars or regular ziplocks, but the beans would lose their flavor pretty quickly. With these bags, the freshness seems to last way longer, and they’re really handy for organizing smaller items too. I did run into a little learning curve though some of the thinner bags tear easily if you overfill them. The thicker ones with resealable zips are way more durable. I also started labeling the bags with dates so I know what needs to be used first. I came across a random guide on sealing techniques that was kinda helpful. Curious do any of you use custom Mylar bags just for food, or have you found other creative uses like storing seeds, herbs, or craft supplies? Would love to hear what’s worked best for you and any tips you’ve picked up along the way.
